Her Life Story

PROLOGUE

The Beginning

Michiru was born in Nagano, Japan on the 30th of August. Raised by her strict father, Kenjiro, that works as a local businessman whilst her mother, Kazue, who often does volunteer work every now and then. She was a happy child, although often shy when first meeting people. She was raised to be a good girl, just as her mother told her to. Preventing herself from doing anything bad or harmful and staying positive for any given situation. Her mother often gives compliments and rewards to Michiru when doing the right thing.

Both Michiru's parents enjoys classical piano pieces, hence Michiru does as well. That is the reason why Michiru asked for piano lessons in the first place. Of course her parents agreed to her request without hesitation.

CHAPTER 1

“I Can't Go Back”

Growing up, Michiru had no problem at school. Everyone treated her well, despite still having the shy and timid trait, causing her to only close be with her best friend, Yuzuki. Michiru’s father had high expectations for his only child. He planned Michiru to become a successful doctor, thus when her grade got higher, so did her education, though her level was way above normal kids.

　　As time passed, her father signed her up to countless of lessons in exchange for additional vocal lessons Michiru herself requested and she had the pressure to learn every basic knowledge a high school student knew at the age of a third grade primary student. Though she did everything perfectly even though she disliked a few subject, she never denied on what her father choose for her since she know that he’s doing all this for her own good. Though that still couldn’t stop the constant stress she feels from all the studying to the point her brain couldn’t handle it. All this, with both her parents rarely watching her due to their own busyness. Nonetheless, Michiru still obeyed her parents every command without complaint.

　　There was a day after a certain incident at school, the same day her parents were out, she realized her cruel reality. Thus, her happiness shattered and was no longer capable of handling all the pressure. It was the day Michiru had her piano lesson. Seeing her piano teacher coming in her house, Michiru used her as her stress relief as she brutally murdered her teacher in anger by ripping off her jaw and tearing her right arm and leg with her bare hands. After that she hung the woman inside her own room and left her house before her parents got home and found out the horrid thing she did.

CHAPTER 2

She never knew
The mess she got into
On that day

　　From that point on, Michiru ran away from home. Eventually she met her uncle, Yuuzan that was on his way for a house visit to the Mitsuka household on the same day she was in need of home. She then lived with him for the spare time. Her uncle was a musician and was often busy with his work leaving Michiru to sit and watch from the corner as he worked day by day.

Though one day, Michiru heard one of the songs her uncle was playing. She was infact amazed by it, knowing it was electric music, not some sound that was made from a musical instrument. From then on, Michiru started loving music again, and started singing as well after memorizing a few songs her uncle showed. She then decided to make some cover songs as suggested by her uncle with him providing the proper equipment.

　　A few days passed by since Michiru's uncle uploaded the cover songs under a stage name called 'Yoshiko', obviously with her face disguised knowing she was still under age to show her face in a public video. Turns out she become quite popular with this, and made it as her daily job. She also became closer with her uncle, as they bonded. He took Michiru fishing, in which became her new hobby, helped her with her studying little by little, and taking her out to play at the arcade every once in a while.

　　One day, Michiru went to find his uncle in his room to make the next cover song. While searching, she saw his large bookshelf in his room and took one of the books from the middle, that showed a secret entrance which she accidentally entered. Upon entering the room, there were all sorts of deadly weapons from knifes until a few grenades. Not long after she got knocked unconscious upon entering the room, she woke up to see her uncle pointing a knife right towards her neck with a sadistic face in contrast of his usual smile and having the urge to kill her without mercy. Despite this, instead what Michiru pleads for is to be killed. Yuuzan not being able to do such task, he then resolves to his last option which was making Michiru follow in his footsteps, and become what he calls an 'assassin' as a condition to be freed.

Half a year passed by after Michiru since ran away from home and lived with his uncle, working with her voice in the day and as a killer by night. Despite this, she did still felt suicidal from time to time. Although no attempts were actually made by her due to her cowardly self, being tortured day by day of the emptiness that dwells in her heart was still as painful as ever. The thought of having to kill someone, having to hurt someone. It wasn't something she could withstand for a long amount of time. She has however tried to almost harm herself once, yet it failed due to her uncle's prevention and stopped doing it since.

CHAPTER 3

Farewell

　　One day she decided to go back home hoping that somethings have changed until. Before leaving, her uncle gave her a special present, which was a set of headphones with a mic on it. She gladly accepted the gift and treasured it dearly until this day.

When she got home, her parents were sitting in the living room talking as always and when they saw they're daughter opening the front door and coming in the house, they both immediately hugged they're child tightly. Michiru was confused at why they weren't yelling at her after the incident, but it didn't seem that they cared judging from they're eased reaction and started living with her parents again, though still working as an assassin at night as promised to her uncle.

　　One night before leaving from the window for her job, her mother caught her and harshly scolded her. Hearing her confession about her job, her parents agreed to take her to boarding school as well as rehabilitation. Once again she refuses, so the night before the was taken, she left a farewell note to her parents and left the house for good. From that day on, she freelanced living from either under an old abandoned bridge and her uncle's house, which she choose not to go too often or her parents will find out where she is.

“Mama, Papa, I'll come and meet you again when I'm all grown-up. Until then, please wait for me.”

CHAPTER 4

The Alter Ego

　　A few years passed by and times were getting rougher by the years as the mission she went through got harder and harder as she had to live under an abandoned bridge if she didn't stay at her uncle's. She was obviously doing that for both their good. if Michiru was at her uncle's too long, her parents would've suspected something as well as being a free-loader in the house. Living in somewhere dirty and abandon wasn't anything pleasant especially living all alone.

Luckily she found two stray kitten which she nurtured and cared for, thus being her only friends. Went she felt down, the two cats were always present whether it was raining, or she didn't have any food. The two felines always stood up for her.

　　As her life got harder, her happy personality had a dilemma as well. Not being able to withstand what she has gone through, Michiru developed a split personality when she was asleep one night. Going back to her nightly mission as the other side at the same night she was created, her uncle was greatly surprised as what happened, though he didn't think it was something bad at all. Instead he though it was the best thing that can happen so that Michiru doesn't have to through such horrid things. Michiru's other personality didn't just come out at night, she also came out anytime she felt a threat. they usually speak to each other when the body is asleep as well as telling stories of what happen each day. Of course Yuuzan did take Michiru to the rehabilitation center a few times, though it seems that her condition is harshly unstable and couldn’t be cured easily. The doctor even gave her a nickname calling her her ‘The broken doll’.

　　At around the age of 14, she needed extra money so she decided to find a part-time job with a help from her uncle. She found three jobs, modeling, babysitting and a part-time in a maid cafe. She happily took the job though didn't enjoyed it as much as her singing career. Despite that, she did like getting new experience but not much socializing. Her night mode got a big mission as well which needed the help of her happy side, which was capturing a killer in an all-girls school for about a few months. While her day mode needed to adapt with the normal school-girls when she was a temporary exchange student, her night mode constantly searched for the target every night. Eventually she caught the suspect, thus earning the most amount of money she ever got in her life.

CHAPTER 5

“Do I really deserve ‘happiness’?”

After all the income from her jobs were received, she finally gathered enough money to actually live in somewhere decent which was a beautiful apartment at Tokyo, in which she lives in with her new roomate. To her, this is worth what she's been through all her life. Finding new friends, living peacefully with her cats on a nice and comfy bed instead of a lousy mattress under some bridge. Besides, she still has her parents that still love her and treats her as if she's the most precious child in the world, and she can still come home sometimes to send letters and receive gifts from her mother every now and then.

As times passed by, she eventually gathered enough money to move out and live all by herself. With the amount of cats she has, it's probably best she takes care of them on her own. Thus, she moved apartments several times. Now she lives at a simple apartment at Tokyo with her three cats and a has rather busy life, having several jobs as well as a tight schedule.

CHAPTER 6

Two years later

At one point, Michiru went for a buisness trip to travel several parts of the globe alongside her uncle. She mostly stayed in England for her two years while traveling. She went to various locations in Europe, America as well as Asia at the time.

Eventually, she came back to Tokyo.

Now, she lives a much more frantic life despite all her jobs being freelance.
